Summary of Project
A derelict market building and car park in the Tarner Area of Brighton has been unused for 9 years. This site is to be regenerated, resulting in new homes, business space and jobs.
The Local Growth Funds awarded have contributed to the planning and demolition areas within the project. Work continues to progress towards the regeneration of the area that will include new homes, business space, jobs, student accommodation, a library and academic building for the University of Brighton, a cultural building called ‘The Dance Space’ and a landscaped public square for users to enjoy.
