The next rounds of European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) calls have been launched on 26 January and these will remain open for a year with mid-point reviews.
The value of the calls in the Coast 2 Capital LEP area is :
- Tourism infrastructure (£1,113,896)
- Food and Drink Processing (£1,299,545)
- Rural Business Development Grant (£835,422)
These will help to support rural businesses (new or existing ones) to grow.

John Peel, Chair of the ESIF committee said 'the rural economy is a significant contributor to Coast 2 Capital's prosperity with over a fifth of our businesses in rural location. We are delighted this fund will help to create more jobs in rural area'.
