Summary of Project
The disused council buildings on Ham Road, Worthing have previously been a drain on public funds and a potentially dangerous area, open to trespassing and malicious damage.
Therefore Adur have partnered with Coast to Capital to demolish the existing building on the site with the purpose of being developed into employment space that has encouraged an existing and rapidly growing business to remain in the area. There will also be new residential units built to support the plans for economic growth in the area and meet criteria for new home requirements.
Local Growth Funds were used towards the planning and feasibility stage, surveys and will also be used for construction.
- Phase I North site will have 24,000sqft of employment space leading to 250 jobs.
- Phase II South site will have approximately 900sqm of new employment space and 150 residential units
