The Careers & Enterprise Company’s annual satisfaction survey asked 1180 Enterprise Advisers (EA) about their role, their experiences and what it’s like to be part of the Enterprise Adviser Network.
Eighty-eight percent of Coast to Capital’s EAs are satisfied with the experience and more than 96% would or have recommended becoming an EA to someone else. These results place Coast to Capital as the second highest scoring careers hub in the country.
Kirsten Trussell, Head of Skills & Innovation at Coast to Capital, said: “One of our priorities at Coast to Capital is to ‘create skills for the future’ and essential to achieving this is the delivery of high-quality careers and enterprise activities in our schools and colleges.
“Our Enterprise Adviser Network supports the delivery of this ambition, and our volunteers play an integral role in supporting the future career prospects for young people.”
The Coast to Capital EAN works to connect senior, local business leaders with senior leaders in local schools and colleges helping to motivate and inspire young people, to make a major impact on their future career prospects.
The purpose of the network is to create powerful, lasting connections between local businesses and education establishments in order to equip young people with the skills they need. The team of Enterprise Advisers support around 20 schools and colleges in their area and link them to local business.
