On International Women's Day, Coast to Capital is delighted to announce the appointment of business restructuring specialist Karen Dukes to the Coast to Capital Board to support the delivery of their ambitious "Gatwick 360" strategy.
Karen brings a wealth of experience to the Board and her finance skills and commercial expertise will help promote a strong business ethos and commercial culture on the Board. She will lead on the delivery of Coast to Capital's loan investments, help to develop the organisation's commercial strategy and takes overall responsibility for the Growing Places Fund.
During her career, Karen focused at various times on owner-managed businesses, public and private sector clients as well as PLCs, both UK-based and global organisations. She has experience of most sectors, but specialised in agri-business, health, education and finance which are some of the key sectors in the Coast to Capital area.
Karen joins the Board at a crucial time for Coast to Capital as negotiations for the Local Industrial Strategy start in earnest.
