Speaking after the Chancellor's Budget statement, Jonathan Sharrock, Chief Executive of Coast to Capital, said he was very pleased to hear the Government's support for the small business community which make up a significant percentage of the Coast to Capital workforce.
He added: "There are other aspects of the Budget which should also benefit the Coast to Capital region. These include confirmation of the next round of Local Growth Fund funding, further funds for flood protection, more support for coastal communities and opportunities to work on development of land around railway stations.
"We look forward to working with Government and our local regional partners on these initiatives in the future."
