Homes England, the Government's housing agency, has revealed early proposals to bring forward three new neighbourhoods on land west of Ifield, Crawley, West Sussex.

During the first phase Homes England is proposing to deliver 3,250 new homes with potential for the remaining 6,750 homes to come forward over the next 15 to 20 years.

Ken Glendinning, Head of Strategic Land at Homes England said:

"We are proposing three sustainable new neighbourhoods on land to the west of Ifield. The new neighbourhoods will create homes where they are most needed, new roads, schools, improved green spaces and other facilities to set up a vibrant, and attractive new community.

"We take a long-term approach to creating fantastic places, investing early in infrastructure and with a track record of delivery. We will be holding a full consultation and engagement programme in the autumn."

  • Homes England is tasked to ensure more people in England have access to better homes in the right places. To make this happen Homes England is looking to develop the next new neighbourhoods for Crawley with the social, health and transport infrastructure as well as the homes people need.
  • A newsletter will be sent to residents shortly which will explain our plans.
  • Full public consultation will start in the Autumn.
