The City Careers Fair is taking place next week (Wednesday 4th March 2020) during National Careers Week, at the American Express Community Stadium (West Stand).
The event offers an opportunity for students and young adults, teachers, parents and carers to talk to local employers and training providers from across Sussex about future aspirations and career choices.
The Careers Fair forms part of the wider Premier League Inspires programme, delivered by Albion in the Community (AITC), Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club's official charity and backed by American Express. The event is also being supported by Brighton & Hove City Council, Coast to Capital, Careers & Enterprise Company, East Sussex County Council and Laing O' Rourke.
It will cover a wide range of industry sectors including technology, engineering, construction, financial services, the arts, travel, hospitality, education, sports, health and social care, the Armed Forces, charity/third sector, as well as apprenticeships, further and higher education opportunities. Skills stations manned by American Express colleagues will offer a variety of interactive activities such as CV content support, interview techniques, social media presence and promoting your personal brand.
Schools from across the region have been pre-invited to attend during the day. There is an open session from 3pm, last entry 4.45pm, free to attend, no pre-registration required. Students young adults, parents/carers, teachers and careers advisers welcome.
