Careers Hub Expansion for 22-23
In partnership with The Careers & Enterprise Company, we are delighted to confirm the expansion of our Careers Hub from September 2022 to further support our institutions in Brighton & Hove and West Sussex.
Hubs are communities of practice for schools and colleges in a geographical area. Hubs are run by a Strategic Hub Lead and work with universities, other education and training providers, employers and careers professionals to ensure the Gatsby Benchmarks are delivered in each school and college, improving career outcomes for all young people. Schools and colleges within a Hub have a shared vision of how they will work together to improve outcomes for the young people in their area.
Lisa Mobbs will continue to lead the team as Strategic Hub Lead, supported by newly appointed Operational Hub Lead Kelly Parkhouse (PGDip HRM), who will lead our team of Enterprise Coordinators and volunteers to provide high quality careers and enterprise education for 11–18-year-olds.
Aligning with the Local Enterprise Partnership / Combined Authority / Local Authority economic and skills priorities, effective delivery will improve career outcomes and achieve sustainable change in provision at a local and national level.
